    On page 2, line 27, after "proposals." insert "Notice of the public solicitation of proposals must be provided to the office of minority and women's business enterprises."

    On page 3, after line 11, insert "(e) The firm's plan for outreach to minority and women-owned businesses;"

    Renumber the subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Requires that the public solicitation of proposals for a mechanical or electrical contractor be provided to the Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises; and includes the firm's plan for outreach to minority and women-owned businesses as an evaluation factor for selection of the subcontractor.
