On page 8, line 10 of the amendment, after "28A.180.080;" strike "and"
On page 8, line 13 of the amendment, after "28A.155.020" insert ";
and
(g) The supplemental instruction under the highly capable program"
On page 37, after line 2, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 606 A new section is added to chapter 28A.185
RCW to read as follows:
Every child deserves a chance to soar. Washington cannot provide
a world class education unless it provides a basic education for our
most talented students to be funded in the manner as those who are
learning at grade level. Therefore, the program for highly capable
students shall be considered part of the program of basic education and
phased in as such in accordance with section 112 of this act."
Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
