On page 5, line 19, after "representatives." insert "The 2012 legislature will utilize the preengineering report in this section to assist in determining the direction of and the appropriate funding level for the Washington state patrol's narrowbanding conversion."
On page 10, line 23, decrease the State Patrol Highway Account--State Appropriation by $550,000
On page 10, line 28, correct the total
On page 56, beginning on line 15, strike all of subsection (1)
Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
EFFECT: Emphasizes that the 2012 Legislature will utilize the preengineering report to assist in determining the direction of and the appropriate funding level for the Washington State Patrol's narrowbanding conversion. Removes the certificate of participation authorization and associated debt service for the 2011-2013 fiscal biennium until the 2012 Legislature determines the narrowbanding direction and the appropriate funding level.
