    On page 2, at the beginning of line 30, strike "services" and insert "delivery of a child under a surrogacy contract"

    On page 39, after line 13, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec 58. It is unlawful for any person, group of persons, association, organization, or entity to receive a fee or other compensation for referring a woman to act as a potential surrogate to an intended parent or intended parents."

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly. Correct the title.

    On page 47, line 7, after "through" strike "66" and insert "67"

EFFECT:   Changes the definition of "compensation." Prohibits persons, associations, organizations, and other entities from receiving compensation in exchange for referring women to act as surrogates to intended parents.
