On page 4, beginning on line 1, after "volunteers." strike all
material through "unit." on line 4 and insert "((The commission shall
not use volunteers to replace or supplant classified positions. The
use of volunteers may not lead to the elimination of any employees or
permanent positions in the bargaining unit.))"
EFFECT: Removes the requirement on the state parks and recreation commission in current law that limits the use of volunteers to a level that does not replace or supplant classified positions or lead to the elimination of any employees or permanent positions in a bargaining unit.
