    On page 1, line 10 of the striking amendment, after "2009, through" strike "August 31, 2011, and from July 1, 2015 through"

    On page 1, line 11 of the striking amendment, after "dollars." strike "From September 1, 2011, through June 30, 2015, the surcharge shall be forty dollars."

EFFECT:  Extends the period during which the document recording surcharge for low income and housing assistance is increased from $10 to $30 through June 30, 2017, rather than increasing the surcharge to $40 from September 1, 2011, through June 30, 2015, and from $10 to $30 from July 2015, through June 30, 2017, in the underlying bill.
