On page 6, after line 2, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 2 A new section is added to chapter 84.55 RCW
to read as follows:
A city or town imposing a benefit charge under section 1 of this
act must reduce the amount of its levy that would otherwise be
authorized under this chapter each year by the amount specified in the
ballot proposition under section 1(7) of this act."
Correct the title.
EFFECT: Requires a city or town imposing a benefit charge to reduce its property tax revenue limit by the amount of the benefit charge collected each year.
