    On page 16, on line 1 of the striking amendment, after "Sec. 13." insert "(1)"

    On page 16, after line 9 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

    "(2) The department of social and health services shall, in contracting with electronic benefit card providers, require that any surcharge or transaction fee charged by the provider be disclosed to electronic benefit card clients at the point in which the surcharge or transaction fee occurs."  

EFFECT:  Directs the Department of Social and Health Services to require their electronic benefit card provider to disclose any surcharge or transaction fee at the point in which the surcharge or fee occurs.
