    On page 3, line 9 of the striking amendment, after "resources." insert "To the extent that this subsection conflicts with federal maintenance of effort requirements this provision does not apply to medicaid benefits."

EFFECT:  Adds language to the definition of "resources" that makes the subsection inapplicable to Medicaid benefits if it conflicts with federal maintenance of effort requirements.
