On page 7, beginning on line 2 of the amendment, after "equal to"
strike all material through "three cents" on line 4 and insert "((ten))
five percent of the statewide motor vehicle fuel tax rate under RCW
82.36.025"
EFFECT: Provides that, upon approval by a county's legislative body and a majority of voters, a county may impose a local excise tax on motor vehicle fuel of up to 5 percent of the statewide motor vehicle fuel tax rate.
