    On page 1, line 18 of the amendment, after "law" insert ", and if invested pursuant to this subsection, shall be invested in a manner exclusively intended to promote positive short-term or long-term effects upon any or all of the people, communities, businesses, or environment of the state of Washington"

EFFECT:   Provides that, if the public moneys of the University of Washington and Washington State University are invested notwithstanding constitutional limits on lending of the state's credit and being interested in corporate stocks, such public moneys must be invested in a manner exclusively intended to promote positive effects on the state's people, communities, businesses, or environment.
