On page 5, beginning on line 24 of the amendment, after "apply to"
strike all material through "wood" on line 26 and insert "((a person in
a residence or commercial establishment that does not have an adequate
source of heat without burning wood)):
(a) A person in a residence or commercial establishment that does
not have an adequate source of heat without burning wood; or
(b) A person with a shop or garage that is detached from the main
residence or commercial establishment that does not have an adequate
source of heat in the detached shop or garage without burning wood,
provided that the person owns and operates a small business out of the
detached shop or garage"
EFFECT: Exempts a person with a shop or garage that is detached from the main residence or commercial establishment that does not have an adequate source of heat in the detached shop or garage without burning wood, provided that the person owns and operates a small business out of the detached shop or garage, from adhering to a prohibition on the use of a solid fuel burning device issued by a local air pollution control authority or the department of ecology.
