On page 53, after line 13, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 77 A new section is added to chapter 29A.84
RCW to read as follows:
Any person, other than an election worker, who handles another
person's ballot after that ballot is filled out and the ballot
declaration is signed shall be guilty of a gross misdemeanor punishable
to the same extent as a misdemeanor that is punishable under RCW
9A.20.021. Each ballot handled shall constitute a separate offense."
Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.
