On page 2, line 24, after "gathering" strike "business" and insert "organization"
On page 2, beginning on line 26, strike all of subsection (2) and
insert the following:
"(2) "Signature gathering organization" means any organization that
engages in the activity of gathering signatures for ballot measures,
initiatives, or recall petitions."
On page 2, line 30, after "gathering" strike "business" and insert "organization"
On page 5, line 17, after "gathering" strike "businesses" and insert "organization"
On page 7, line 5, after "gathering" strike "businesses" and insert "organization"
On page 8, line 28, after "gathering" strike "businesses" and insert "organization"
EFFECT: Removes references to "signature gathering business" and inserts "signature gathering organization." Defines a "signature gathering organization" to include any organization that engages in signature gathering.
