On page 15, after line 9, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 7 By January 1, 2017, institutions of higher
education as defined in RCW 28B.10.016 must report to the legislature
and the governor on: (1) The amount of savings resulting from use of
the higher education provisions of this act; and (2) the manner in
which such savings were used to promote student academic success."

On page 1, line 3 of the title, after "41.04.240;" strike "and" and after "28B.10.029" insert "; and creating a new section"
EFFECT: Requires institutions of higher education to report on the amount of savings and the manner in which such savings were used to promote student academic success by January 1, 2017.
