Background:

In 2010 a bill was enacted that reorganized and recodified laws pertaining to campaign finance disclosure and contributions. The recodified campaign finance laws become effective January 1, 2012.

Summary:

Technical changes are made to various statutes to correct cross-references and double amendments resulting from changes to campaign finance disclosure laws and contributions. No policy changes are made.
