     AN ACT Relating to the implementation of year-round Pacific Standard Time; adding a new section to chapter 1.20 RCW; and repealing RCW 1.20.051.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1   A new section is added to chapter 1.20 RCW to read as follows:
     The time of the state of Washington shall be Pacific Standard Time throughout the calendar year, as determined by reference to Greenwich Mean Time.

NEW SECTION.  Sec. 2   RCW 1.20.051 (Daylight saving time) and 1963 c 14 s 1 & 1961 c 3 s 1 are each repealed.
