Creates the Washington clean energy partnership to: (1) Develop, implement, and manage programs and funding initiatives related to expanding the clean energy sector in Washington; and |
(2) Coordinate clean energy initiatives and implement the clean energy leadership council's recommendations provided in the state clean energy leadership plan report. |
Creates the clean energy sector advisory committee to: (1) Approve the appointment of the executive director of the partnership; |
(2) Approve the annual operating budget of the partnership; |
(3) Provide strategic guidance to the executive director on the needs of the clean energy sector; and |
(4) Establish priorities for the use of partnership funds, including approving the allocation of funds to projects. |
Creates the Washington clean energy partnership fund. |
Requires money in the energy freedom account to be spent only after appropriation and approval by the Washington clean energy partnership. |
