On page 2, beginning on line 20, after "terminal." strike all material through "terminal."" on line 22 and insert ""Known to be terminal" means an occupational disease that will, on a more probable than not basis, result in the death of the worker within twelve months."

EFFECT: Removes the provision requiring the Department of Labor and Industries to define the term "known to be terminal" by rule, and instead defines the term as "an occupational disease that will, on a more probable than not basis, result in the death of the worker within 12 months."
