    On page 3, line 34, after "condition" insert "or has been directly referred to a health care professional from the principle health care professional treating the patient's terminal or debilitating medical condition"

EFFECT:   Clarifies that attestations to authorize an extraordinary demand for medical marijuana must be made by the patient's principle, rather than "primary," health care professional treating the patient's terminal or debilitating medical condition.  Allows the attestation to be made by a health care professional who has examined the patient upon direct referral from the principle health care professional treating the patient's terminal or debilitating medical condition.  Allows a person to become a qualifying patient through a health care professional to whom the patient has been referred by the principle health care professional treating the patient's terminal or debilitating medical condition.
