On page 3, at the beginning of line 10 of the amendment, strike "By December 1, 2014" and insert "During the 2015 model code adoption period"
On page 3, line 15 of the amendment, after "purpose." insert "The adopted rules must be scheduled to take effect by July 1, 2016."
EFFECT: Requires that the building code council adopts rules to eliminate minimum room area requirements in the building code during the 2015 model code adoption period, and that the changes take effect by July 1, 2016.
