    EFFECT:  Removes a required increase in basic education instructional hours to 1,080 for each of grades 7-12 and the associated funding.  Increases the prototypical school allocation for high school guidance counselors.  Adds a state-funded laboratory class size enhancement and an enhanced MSOC allocation for grades 9-12.  

 

    FISCAL IMPACT:

           Decreases General Fund - State by $647,000.
