    On page 4, beginning on line 19 of the striking amendment, after "(3)" strike all material through "section." on page 5, line 3 of the striking amendment and insert "Each carrier offering or renewing a health benefit plan on or after January 1, 2016, must provide enrollees with the performance information required by section 2717 of the patient protection and affordable care act, P.L. 111-148 (2010), as amended by the health care and education reconciliation act, P.L. 111-152 (2010), and any federal regulations or guidance issued under that section of the affordable care act."

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:   Removes the requirements that a carrier prominently display performance information for specified programs on the carrier's website and that the Office of the Insurance Commissioner prepare a brief statement regarding the programs.  Requires that a carrier provide enrollees with performance information as required by the Affordable Care Act.
