On page 11, after line 27 of the amendment, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 6 A new section is added to chapter 28A.320
RCW to read as follows:
(1) School districts must provide parents and guardians of enrolled
students from eighth through twelfth grades information about each
statewide administered student assessment, the minimum state-level
graduation requirements, and any additional school district graduation
requirements. The information may be provided when the student is
enrolled, contained in the student or parent handbook, or posted on the
school district's web site.
(2) The office of the superintendent of public instruction shall
provide information to the school districts to enable the districts to
provide the information to the parents and guardians in accordance with
subsection (1) of this section."
Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

On page 14, line 2 of the title amendment, after "28B.105.060;" insert "adding a new section to chapter 28A.320 RCW;"
EFFECT: OSPI must provide school districts with information on graduation requirements and the statewide student assessments. The school districts must provide the information to parents of 8th through 12th grade students.
