On page 4, line 20 of the amendment, after "(iii)" insert "When
results on federally mandated statewide student assessments are used as
one of multiple measures of student growth for the purpose of
evaluating a teacher, the teacher being evaluated must receive an
annual cost-of-living increase pursuant to RCW 28A.400.205.
(iv)"
On page 9, line 23 of the amendment, after "(ii)" insert "When
results on federally mandated statewide student assessments are used as
one of the multiple measures of student growth for the purpose of
evaluating a principal, the principal being evaluated must receive an
annual cost-of-living increase pursuant to RCW 28A.400.205.
(iii)"
EFFECT: When student results from federally mandated statewide assessments are used as one of the multiple measures of student growth for the purposes of teacher and principal evaluations, the teacher and principal subject to the evaluation must receive a cost-of-living increase pursuant to RCW 28A.400.205.
