    On page 22, after line 18, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1021.  A new section is added to 2013 2nd sp.s. c 19 (uncodified) to read as follows:

FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF ENTERPRISE SERVICES

    Predesign for New State Patrol Building (92000001)

    The appropriation in this section is subject to the following conditions and limitations:

    The appropriation is provided solely for a predesign for a new facility for the headquarters of the state patrol on state property North of the natural resource building, the "pro-arts" site.  The predesign must describe a project scope that meets all or most of the facility needs of the state patrol in Thurston County while minimizing the budgetary impacts.

Appropriation:

    State Building Construction Account--State........... $250,000

    Prior Biennia (Expenditures)............................... $0

    Future Biennia (Projected Costs)........................... $0

           TOTAL                                                 $250,000"

     Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:   Funds a predesign for a new State Patrol building.
