    On page 1, line 8, after "section." insert "Any academic acceleration policy adopted by a school district board of directors must require parents and students to opt into participating in the academic acceleration program."

    On page 2, line 10, strike everything after "students."

EFFECT:  Allows parents and students to opt into an academic acceleration program rather than having to opt out of the program.
