Staff Summary of Public Testimony on Original Bill: PRO: Motorcycles drive much less than the average car and get much better gas mileage so this gets them much closer to what they would be paying in fuel tax. The current fee is a disincentive to registering and sales of electric motorcycles. There are immense job opportunities related to the infrastructure development related to electric vehicles and this will help expand that.
