Requires physician assistants and osteopathic physician assistants, before being used in a remote site, to receive approval from the medical quality assurance commission and the board of osteopathic medicine and surgery, as appropriate.

Allows a physician and an osteopathic physician to enter into delegation agreements with five physician assistants, but may petition for a waiver of this limit.

Changes the term "practice arrangement plan" to "delegation agreement."

Requires the medical quality assurance commission and the board of osteopathic medicine and surgery, working in collaboration with a statewide organization representing the interests of physician assistants, to adopt rules modernizing the current rules regulating physician assistants and report to the legislature.
