    On page 24, line 22 of the striking amendment, after "chapter" insert ", except for the provisions of this chapter related to restrictions on flame retardants in children's products and residential upholstered furniture,"

EFFECT:  Eliminates the requirement that manufacturers of children's products and residential upholstered furniture that contain restricted flame retardants provide notice to persons that sell the manufacturers product about the existence of the restrictions and other provisions in the Children's Safe Products Act within 90 days of the effective date of the restrictions on those flame retardants.
