On page 2, after line 9, insert the following:

NEW SECTION.  Sec. 2.  "This act takes effect when the secretary of state certifies that there is gender pay equity in this state."

On page 1, at the beginning of line 3 of the title, strike "and" and after "29A.80.020" insert "; and providing a contingent effective date"

EFFECT: Delays implementation of the bill until the secretary of state certifies that there is gender pay equity in the state of Washington.
