Background:

Chapter 251, Laws of 2013 (SSB 5287) required the Office of the State Treasurer, the Office of Financial Management, and the Code Reviser to review state statutes related to state capital construction funds, accounts and bond authorizations. Based on the review, they were required to submit legislation in 2015 to amend, repeal, or decodify statutes that are inactive, obsolete, or no longer necessary for continued publication in the Revised Code of Washington (RCW).

Summary of Bill:

A number of statutes related to state capital construction funds, accounts, and bond authorizations that are inactive, obsolete or no longer necessary for continued publication in the Revised Code of Washington are decodified, recodified, amended, or repealed.

Effective Date: The bill takes effect 90 days after adjournment of the session in which the bill is passed.
