Provides that, if the surviving spouse or domestic partner of a member of the law enforcement officers' and firefighters' retirement system or the state patrol retirement system who is killed in the course of employment is not eligible to receive industrial insurance payments due to remarriage, the surviving spouse or domestic partner shall receive an amount equal to the benefit they would receive but for the remarriage.
