Provides that: (1) The joint legislative audit and review committee, in its report, concluded that the department of labor and industries could improve workers' compensation claim outcomes by improving claims management efficiencies, specifically clarifying the definition of employability; and

(2) Most states terminate temporary total disability payments when an injured worker reaches maximum medical improvement.

Declares an intent to bring the state into parity with these states in order to achieve greater claims management efficiency.
