Vests designated officers employed by the parks and recreation commission with police powers to enforce the state laws: (1) Within the boundaries of a state park;

(2) In winter recreation facilities established and administered by the commission;

(3) On public roadways and public waterways bisecting the contiguous borders of a state park;

(4) Upon the prior written consent of the sheriff or chief of police in whose primary territorial jurisdiction the exercise of the powers occur;

(5) In response to the request of a peace officer with enforcement authority; and

(6) When the officer is in fresh pursuit for an offense committed in the presence of the officer while the officer had police powers as specified above.
