HB 2240 by Representatives Orcutt and Young Concerning the bidding process for the construction of ferry vessels. Requires the department of transportation, if it does not receive at least three qualified bids on a request for proposals for ferry vessel construction, to issue a new request for proposals that excludes certain requirements relating to the location of the ferry construction.
SB 6111 by Senator Chase Concerning property tax and business and occupation tax exemptions on intangible property. Eliminates the intangible property exemption from property taxes and business and occupation taxes.
SB 6112 by Senators Hatfield and Pearson Increasing participation in recreational fishing by lowering licensure costs. Lowers the costs of personal use saltwater, freshwater, combination, and temporary fishing licenses.
