    On page 12, line 6, increase the Highway Safety Account--State appropriation by $50,000

    On page 12, line 17, correct the total.

    On page 15, after line 26, insert the following:

    "(16) $50,000 of the highway safety account--state appropriation is provided solely for the implementation of chapter . . . (House Bill No. 2055), Laws of 2017 (traffic lane merge education).  If chapter . . . (House Bill No. 2055), Laws of 2017 is not enacted by June 30, 2017, the amount provided in this subsection lapses."

EFFECT: Provides $50,000 for the Department of Licensing and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction to implement HB 2055 (traffic lane merge education).  

FISCAL IMPACT:

           Increases Highway Safety Acct - State by $50,000.
