EFFECT: Modifies the Senate appointment provisions for the Legislative Task Force on K-12 Governance and Responsibilities proposed in the underlying bill by removing a requirement directing the President of the Senate to appoint the chair and ranking minority members of the Senate Early Learning and K-12 Education Committee to the Task Force and instead requiring the leaders of the two major caucuses of the Senate to each appoint one Task Force member.
