    On page 1, at the beginning of line 17, strike "(1)" and insert "(a)"

    On page 2, at the beginning of line 1, strike "(2)" and insert "(b)"

    On page 2, at the beginning of line 6, strike "(3)" and insert "(c)"

    On page 2, at the beginning of line 11, strike "(4)" and insert "(d)"

    On page 2, at the beginning of line 15, strike "(5)" and insert "(e)"

    On page 2, after line 17, insert the following:

    "(2)  This section does not prohibit either the expansion or modernization of an existing school in the rural area or the placement of portable classrooms at an existing school in a rural area."

EFFECT:   Provides that an existing school in a rural area is not prohibited from expanding, modernizing, or adding portable classrooms.
