    On page 43, line 2, after "safety." insert "Funding provided in

this subsection may not be used in any action where the adverse

party is the state or federal government."

EFFECT:   Provides that funding for the Department of Commerce to contract with a nonprofit organization to provide legal representation related to family and community safety may not be used in any action where the adverse party is the state or federal government.

FISCAL IMPACT: No net change to appropriated levels.
