    On page 3, after line 9, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. For the purposes of this act, any attorney or entity who files a lawsuit on behalf of a city, town, or municipal corporation or who is appointed, employed, or contracted to perform any duty assigned to a prosecutorial authority of a city, town, or municipal corporation shall be considered a special prosecuting attorney subject to the disclosure requirements of this act."

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

    Correct title.  

EFFECT: Provides that any attorney or entity who files a lawsuit on behalf of a city, town, or municipal corporation or who is appointed, employed, or contracted to perform any duty assigned to a prosecutorial authority of a city, town, or municipal corporation is considered a special prosecuting attorney subject to disclosure requirements.
