    On page 3, beginning on line 25, after "costs" strike all material through "collect" on line 26 and insert "in excess of the actual"

EFFECT:   Prohibits school personnel, district personnel, or school volunteers from requiring a parent or guardian to pay fees or costs in excess of the actual amounts owed for meals previously served to the student, rather than from collection agencies hired by the school or district to collect amounts owed for meals previously served to the student.
