On page 4, after line 17, insert the following:

"(7) The rights and remedies in this section apply only to the erection, construction, alteration, or repair of a building, structure, or other private work in a city in the state with a population over six hundred thousand."

EFFECT: Limits the application of the bill to work in cities with a population over 600,000.
