On page 1, line 9, after "((his or her))" strike "the first, or given," and insert "the candidate's"
On page 2, line 2, after "registration" insert "unless that name is all or part of the candidate's current or former legal name"
| EFFECT: Permits candidates to use all or part of their current or former legal name as their last name or surname on the ballot. Permits a candidate to determine how the candidate's full name will appear on the ballot, not just the candidate's first or given name, subject to limitations in the bill and current law.
