On page 1, after line 14, insert the following:

"(c) A landlord is not required to permit a tenant to pay in installments if the total amount of the deposits and nonrefundable fees, excluding pet deposits, is less than one thousand dollars."

EFFECT: Provides another exclusion from the requirement that a landlord must permit the tenant to pay in installments if the total amount of the deposits and nonrefundable fees, excluding pet deposits, is less than $1,000.
