"(ii) For the traffic violations that only cities with populations greater than five hundred thousand people are authorized to use automated traffic safety cameras to detect under (a)(i) of this subsection, the use of automated traffic safety cameras is limited to the following:

(A) The portion of state and local roadways in downtown areas of the city used for office and commercial activities, as well as retail shopping and support services, and that may include mixed residential uses;

(B) The portion of state and local roadways in areas in the city within one-half mile of the boundaries of the area described in (a)(ii)(A) of this subsection;

(C) Portions of roadway systems in the city that travel into and out of (a)(ii)(A) above that are designated by WSDOT as non-interstate freeways for up to three miles; and

(D) Portions of roadway systems in the city connected to the non-interstate freeways identified in (a)(ii)(C) of this subsection that are designated by WSDOT as arterial roadways for up to one mile from the intersection of the arterial roadway and the non-interstate freeway."
