On page 8, line 8, after "(b)" strike "With" and insert "(i) Except as provided in (ii) of this subsection (b), with"

On page 8, after line 20, insert the following:

"(ii) If, at the commencement of the tenancy, the landlord has provided an installment payment plan for the tenant's security deposit, the landlord is not required to provide the documentation required by (i) of this subsection (b)."

EFFECT: Eliminates the documentation requirement in situations in which the landlord has allowed the tenant to pay his or her security deposit in installments.
