| EFFECT: Requires the governing body of a municipal electric utility or public utility district to enter into an agreement with any natural gas company serving customers in the electric utility's service area to pay for any long-term stranded costs that may be incurred by the natural gas company with the electrification of homes and buildings in the gas company's service area. |
