On page 1, line 19 of the striking amendment, after "prevention." insert "The curriculum, instruction, and materials must emphasize the importance of refusal skills training, which means a set a skills designed to help children avoid participating in high-risk behaviors. Programs designed to discourage crime, drug use, violence, or sexual activity frequently include refusal skills in their curricula to help students resist peer pressure while maintaining self-respect."
