On page 18, after line 9, insert the following:

"(4) Beginning July 1, 2024, the surcharge imposed in this section does not apply to any city or county with a population under seventy-five thousand people."

EFFECT: After July, 2024, limits the document recording fee to cities and counties with populations of 75,000 or greater.
